Mudflats String Band will perform Saturday, April 25, at the Jamesport Meeting House.
The North Fork group plays traditional Americana rooted in Southern Appalachian music, drawing on Celtic fiddle and African banjo traditions. The band features fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, bass and drums, with electric fiddle incorporated into the arrangements.
The Jamesport Meeting House, built in 1731, is the oldest public structure on the East End and is known for its acoustics.
