NFAC: There’s No Place Like Home – An Afternoon of Art, Community & Celebration

This Thanksgiving weekend, North Fork Arts Center invites the community to an afternoon of art, community, and celebration. The event is part of the Wicked: For Good Weekend and is titled ‘There’s No Place Like Home.’ The event will run from 3 to 6 p.m. and will include a Wine & Cheese Art Opening Holiday Open House. The afternoon will kick off the holiday season with the opening of an exhibition curated by local gallery partners—VEME Studios, VSOP Projects, Alex Ferrone Gallery, North Fork Art Collective, and William Ris Gallery. The exhibition will showcase artists whose work reflects themes of belonging, courage, and community. Attendees will enjoy complimentary wine and cheese while exploring the gallery and mingling with friends. The event also serves as a fundraiser for the North Fork Arts Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase memberships, gift cards, or name a theater seat for someone they love. They can also pick up unique merchandise or original artwork. The event is free to attend. To complete the weekend celebration, attendees are encouraged to watch Wicked: For Good before or after the art opening. Movie tickets can be purchased online.
