NYS citizen preparedness training at Riverhead Free Library

Riverhead Free Library will host a New York State-certified citizen preparedness training focused on preparing for, responding to and recovering from emergencies and disasters. The program will cover how to create a family emergency plan and how to build a basic emergency supply kit.

The training is sponsored by Sen. Anthony Palumbo and Assemblywoman Jodi Giglio. Registration is required and must be completed online. If at least 50 people attend, each family will receive a free preparedness bag.
