Riverhead STOP Day: Free household hazardous waste disposal

Riverhead Town will hold its semi-annual STOP Day, providing residents with an opportunity to safely dispose of household hazardous wastes at no charge.

The event takes place at the Riverhead Highway Department, 1177 Osborn Avenue, Riverhead.

Pollutants and electronics disposal area open to Riverhead residents only.

Riverhead CAP and Riverhead Police will be accepting unwanted, unused, and expired medications. The medication take back is available to all.
