The Suffolk County Office for the Aging is hosting a Senior Advocacy session on Sept. 3, from 10 a.m. to noon at Riverhead Free Library. This is an opportunity for seniors to learn about different benefits and programs they may be eligible for. The representative from the office will assist in determining program eligibility, filling out various applications and forms, and connecting seniors with appropriate services. This is a walk-in session, so no appointment is required. The event is free to attend.
