On Jan. 7, from 10 a.m. to noon, the Suffolk County Office for the Aging will host a Senior Advocate event at the Riverhead Free Library. This event aims to assist seniors in understanding and accessing various benefits and programs available to them. Seniors will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a representative from the Suffolk County Office for the Aging. This representative can help seniors determine their eligibility for different programs, fill out necessary applications and forms, and connect them with appropriate services. No appointment is required for this event, and seniors are encouraged to walk in at their convenience. The event is free to attend.
