The dynamic husband and wife team of Madeline Kole, vocalist, and Rich Iacona, pianist, will present songs from the Golden Age of the Great American Songbook, 1930-1960s.
Featured will be songs from George and Ira Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and Rodgers and Hart, to name a few.
They will share interesting stories about the composers and their songs, and delve into the lyrics, melodies and the Broadway shows from which they originated.
The concert will take place in the Grand Room at Riverhead Free Library on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
