The Culper Spy Ring: The Lasting Legacy of Long Island’s Revolutionary Roots

Riverhead Free Library will host a talk on the Culper Spy Ring as part of its America 250 programming.

The program looks at Long Island’s role in the American Revolution through the story of George Washington’s secret network of spies, including how coded messages and covert tactics were used to gather intelligence and evade the British.
