Railroad Museum of Long Island President Don Fisher will discuss the creation of the Long Island Railroad in 1834 and its very first passenger train from Brooklyn to Greenport on Saturday, July 27, 1844, and the ensuing celebration.

The event takes place on Saturday, March 23 at 10:30 a.m. at Riverhead Free Library, 330 Court Street, Riverhead.
