Long Island Firsts via Zoom at Mattituck-Laurel Library

Join the Mattituck-Laurel Library for an enlightening virtual event titled ‘Long Island Firsts’ via Zoom. The event will take place on Aug. 8, 2024, from 7 to 8 p.m.

The event will focus on the rich history of Long Island, highlighting a variety of groundbreaking events and accomplishments that have taken place on Long Island. This includes the installation of the first ATM machine, among other notable firsts.

The event is free to attend and will be presented by Eco-Photo Explorers. It aims to instill a sense of local pride through the exploration of Long Island’s history of innovation and perseverance.
