The Guys: Sept. 11 Live Commemorative Performance

North Fork Arts Center and Northeast Stage will present a live commemorative performance of Anne Nelson’s drama “The Guys,” marking the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Inspired by interviews Nelson conducted with surviving first responders in the aftermath of Sept. 11, the play follows two people from different walks of life as they confront grief and search for connection through language.

The anniversary production stars Kevin Shea, the sole surviving responding member of FDNY Engine 40/Ladder 35, alongside Eileen Trilli. The performance is produced by Judith and Stephen Ness and directed by Christian Lepore, with assistance from Nicholas Auletti.

The event is free and open to the public.
