Riverhead Free Library will host “Remembering 9/11: Responder Stories Onscreen and In-Person,” a two-hour public program focused on the experiences and legacy of Sept. 11 responders.
The program will feature curated video vignettes from the Stony Brook World Trade Center Oral History Project, “Remembering 9/11,” followed by a live question-and-answer session with a Long Island responder. Topics include duty, patriotism, courage, community and resilience, along with the ongoing impact of the response to the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
The event also aims to increase awareness of the mission and services of the WTC Health Program.
