The Sebastians Chamber Music Ensemble at Jamesport Meeting House

The Sebastians, a renowned chamber music ensemble, will be performing at the Jamesport Meeting House on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. The group, known for their energetic and engaging performances of baroque and classical music, will present a program titled ‘Vim and Vigor’. This program is a spirited celebration of the baroque ‘trio’ sonata, featuring two violins, cello, and harpsichord. The concert will showcase the unique dynamism of the baroque era through the eloquent melodies of Handel, the complex counterpoint of Bach, and the harmonic richness of Corelli. In addition, the audience will be treated to a newly-commissioned trio sonata by Karl Hinze. Tickets are $20 each and include a reception with the performers after the concert.
