The Suffolk will host “Whiskey and War Stories,” an evening with retired U.S. special operations soldier Bob Pennington and Horse Soldier Bourbon, with proceeds benefiting the Warrior Ranch Foundation of Calverton.
The program includes a guided tasting of three Horse Soldier Bourbon blends and a live Q&A with Pennington, one of the first 12 U.S. special operations soldiers to enter Afghanistan following the Sept. 11 attacks. Each guest will receive an autographed bottle of Horse Soldier Bourbon.
The Warrior Ranch Foundation is a nonprofit that provides equine therapy to veterans and first responders, with an emphasis on those living with PTS. The organization also rescues horses, retrains and repurposes them through its program, and works to rehome them.
