Wine Tasting with Sommelier Rose Thomas Bannister at Golden Acres Organic Farm

Golden Acres Organic Farm invites you to a unique wine tasting experience with sommelier instructor Rose Thomas Bannister on June 15, 2024. The event, titled ‘Wine Tasting: A Journey of Senses’, will take place from 4 to 6 p.m.

Bannister believes that wine tasting has its own language and vocabulary, and she aims to teach attendees techniques for a deeper connection with their senses and cultural memories. The wine tasting includes three pours of different wines, accompanied by charcuterie nibbles.

Rose Thomas Bannister is known for her media project, Modo di Bere, which aims to connect local culture through wine and language. She has worked with winemakers from Italy, Spain, Austria, and the U.S., making her a passionate advocate for sustainable farms.

No special skills are required to attend the event, just bring your senses and be ready to enjoy yourself! Attendees are also invited to come early for the opportunity to pick organic strawberries or browse the farm shop. Please check the website for U-Pick field updates.
