The Greater Jamesport Civic Association will hold its May meeting with guest speaker Riverhead Central School District Superintendent Dr. Robert Hagan. Coffee will be served at 9 a.m., and the meeting begins at 9:30 a.m.
A veteran peer mentor from the Joseph P. Dwyer Veterans Peer Support Project will share resources with veterans and their families at the Riverhead Free Library. No registration is required and admission is free.

Paddle Battle 2026, benefiting the New York Marine Rescue Center, takes place Saturday, July 25, along the Peconic River in Riverhead. Register as an individual or group for a competitive race or a non-competitive course, with prizes, vendors, a raffle, and tours of the NYMRC hospital area.
