Riverhead Free Library will host a free Irish genealogy program focused on research tools and historical records. The session will cover key Irish sources including civil and parish records, land and census records, and resources such as Griffith’s Primary Valuation and Tithe Applotment Books.
Mattituck-Laurel Library will host a panel with physicians from Stony Brook Medicine – Advanced Primary & Specialty Care in Mattituck. Meet local doctors and learn about available services, with light refreshments served.
Riverhead Free Library will present an America 250 program on the Culper Spy Ring, George Washington’s Revolutionary War-era network of spies. The talk explores Long Island’s role in the war and the coded messages and covert tactics used to outmaneuver the British.
North Fork Arts Center will host a free personal branding workshop for North Fork high school students. The session will cover how to communicate strengths and values, build networks and prepare for college and early career steps. Participants should bring their own lunch.
