All aboard! The Railroad Museum of Long Island's annual Railroad Festival takes place in Riverhead this weekend: 10 am to 4 pm Saturday and Sunday. Ride the 1964 World's Fair LIRR pavilion train, enjoy many operating toy train layouts, check out the historic locomotives, rail cars and caboose on display, traditional music, vendors and much more. Ride the Scoot to Greenport and back - special Scoot leaves Riverhead at 11:20 am both days. Educational fun for the whole family.
