3rd Annual Turtle (Beer) Crawl Hosted by NYMRC

The New York Marine Rescue Center (NYMRC) is set to host its third Annual Turtle (Beer) Crawl on Saturday, Sept. 7. The event will kick off at 1 p.m. at Twin Fork Beer Co. and will wrap up at Ubergeek Brewery at 6 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to visit five local breweries, including:

– Twin Fork Beer Co. at 1 p.m.
– Long Ireland Beer Co. at 2 p.m.
– Tradewinds Brewing at 3 p.m.
– North Fork Brewing at 4 p.m.
– Ubergeek Brewery at 5 p.m.

The cost of participation is $45 per person if paid in advance, or $50 at the door. The fee includes an event T-shirt, discounts at each brewery, and a chance to win raffle prizes. All proceeds from the crawl will go towards supporting the rescue and rehabilitation of Long Island’s sea turtles. Currently, NYMRC is caring for five sea turtles at its facility and is preparing for the 2024 to 2025 cold stun season.
