Groundbreaking Black Comedians Presentation at Mattituck-Laurel Library

Join us for a unique presentation honoring groundbreaking black comedians at the Mattituck-Laurel Library on Feb. 20, 2025. This presentation will celebrate the incredible contributions of eight comedians who introduced an incomparable style of comedy to the world, breaking racially prejudiced barriers along the way. The comedians being celebrated include Godfrey Cambridge, Redd Foxx, Dick Gregory, Flip Wilson, Nipsey Russell, Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby and Eddie Murphy. This event is free to attend and starts at 5:30 p.m. Please register in advance at the Mattituck-Laurel Library website.
