On Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Mattituck-Laurel Library is hosting a session on ‘Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors’. This informative session aims to help attendees understand common behavioral changes in dementia patients, and how these can be a form of communication. The program will cover non-medical approaches to behaviors and help participants recognize when additional help is needed. This program is offered in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association. The event is free to attend, but registration is required. To register, visit the Mattituck-Laurel Library’s website.
