The Eagle has Landed: Man on the Moon – Online Event by Mattituck-Laurel Library

Join us for ‘The Eagle has Landed: Man on the Moon’, a riveting recount of the Space Race between the United States and the Soviet Union. This online event, hosted by the Mattituck-Laurel Library, takes place on July 30, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Librarian and historian Jim Ward will guide us through the highs and lows that led to astronaut Neil Armstrong setting foot on the moon’s surface on July 20, 1969. This event is a co-sponsorship with Southold Free Library.
