Art show: “Waterworks: Splashes of Color,” paintings by Lois Levy

The Mattituck-Laurel Library will present “Waterworks: Splashes of Color,” an art show of watercolor paintings by Lois Levy, on view throughout the month of August during regular library hours.

Levy’s work explores the movement and unpredictability of watercolor, and she sometimes incorporates other media such as ink, colored pencil and collage.

An opening reception will be held in the library’s art gallery on Friday, Aug. 7, from 4 to 6 p.m. All are welcome.
